AmeriCorps VISTA leader
with CCNYPA
A VISTA Leader is an AmeriCorps position where the VISTA member(s) serves to support, mentor, coach and lead a group of VISTAs. VISTA Leaders are still VISTAs with similar objectives as the VISTA member, which includes anti-poverty efforts in capacity building and sustainability.
To be eligible for the VISTA Leader position, members must have completed one year of service with AmeriCorps prior. AmeriCorps provides an opportunity to members that will prepare them for the VISTA Leader role.
