Panel Discussion - The Scholar as Human
The Scholar as Human brings together faculty from a wide range of disciplines to focus on how scholarship is informed, enlivened, deepened, and made more meaningful by each scholar's sense of identity, purpose, and place in the world.

Join us on June 3 from 12-1:30pm for a panel discussion on The Scholar as Human with the series editors, Anna Sims Bartel and Debra A. Castillo, both from Cornell University. Other panelists include Christine Henseler, Union College; Scott Peters, Cornell University; Bobby J. Smith II, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; Gerald Torres, Yale University; and Matthew Velasco, Cornell University.

Developing strategic alliances is one powerful way to add real value to the educational opportunities that we offer to students. In this inaugural Eastern Region Campus Compact Presidents Roundtable, Daan Braveman, J.D., president emeritus of Nazareth College in Rochester, and Josh Gewlob, partner at Harter Secrest and Emery LLP, will facilitate a discussion that focuses on the promise that these alliances can offer.
